Outlook RTF [message #444697] Wed, 20 October 2004 16:25 Go to next message

Hi,

Im using Eclipse SWT to open up a new email window which has some RTF as
body of the email. This works fine on Windows 2000 where the email body
is formatted correctly, but when I use Windows XP the email body is
displayed in normal text with the RTF escape codes displayed too.

Is this a problem with SWT/XP/Outlook? Anyone ever had a problem like
this? or a solution?

Thanks.

Hi,
Outlook Object MailItem has a property BodyFormat.
You should be sure it is set as you want (reach Text format).

I think the default comes from the Outlook client local settings (maybe
you have different settings in Outlook 2000/Outlook2002!?).

Hope it was usefull,
Tiberiu
