Is there a plan to make the Dali 1.0 milestone builds available for
download in the near future?

Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,

Yes, actually, they are already available on the WTP download page and
update site. I need to update the website to point to the WTP download
page, but you can find the latest Dali 1.0 milestone builds here -
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/.

Scroll down to the 2.0Mx section, and on these 2.0Mx pages you will find
the Dali JPA Tools downloads at the very bottom of the page. For example,
the M4 download can be found here -
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/drops/R2.0/S- 2.0M4-200701050358/

That being said, the 1.0 tools are still quite rough as of M4. We are
doing a lot of work to integrate the orm.xml descriptor support into our
tooling, which has required us to refactor much of the existing
functionality from 0.5. What you can see in the current 1.0 milestone is
the ability to manipulate JPA Annotations as well as the orm.xml
descriptor in real-time via our UI views. As a result there is less
support for the various annotations and other functionality, but new
support for working with an orm.xml file.

At this point, if you are interested in working with Annotations, the 0.5
release offers greater functionality and a more stable environment. We
are hoping that the 1.0 milestones will be more fully featured in the
M5/M6 timeframe.

Thanks for your interest,
Neil
