Hello.

Maybe we should overwork the way CDO is described on it's homepage.
But see for yourself:

I guess Thomas from H2 is no programming newbie and has some knowledge about database concepts. So
there is maybe something wrong with the way how CDO is described (I just say maybe ;-)).
Any suggestions how it can be more intuitively described to new users?
Maybe some use cases? Or maybe a simpler first paragraph what this project is all about (the text
beside the picture on http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDO).
What do you think?

Kai,

Thanks for the hint, I'm always interested in improving the peception of
CDO!

That said, I would like to see more concrete suggestions ;-)
And the fact that Thomas is a good programmer and has RDB knowledge does
not necessarily indicate that he's a modeling guru. But you're right in
that the blurp should be for newbies and not for the gurus, well , maybe
for both...
