How to use the Device Kit and SAT from SODA [message #43221] Fri, 27 June 2008 12:12 Go to next message

Hi,

I want to develop a project using the device kit and sat from SODA.
Basically what I intend to do is to expose a simple sensor network
(running TinyOS) as services such that sensory data can be accessed
through a web interface.

Is there any documentation for device kit and sat? Or any tutorial on how
to use them. I am new to this area and get quite blurred by so many
packages of devick kit/sat that I downloaded.

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Jeo

Jeo,

Install the latest weekly build from the update site at
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/ohf/soda/dk/update-si te/weekly/ into
eclipse look in the help. You should find tutorials for both SAT and DK
there. Not everything is documented, but the documentation together with the
wizards should at least help you get started.

There is lots of SAT documentation available when you install the SAT
tooling, but you can also read it here:

http://eclipse-sat.blogspot.com/

You'll find a link on the right that lets you read the documentation
online without installing the SAT tooling.
