Hello,

I just downloaded AJDT 1.2M1 and installed it with eclipse 3.01.

To get started I ran through the toturial at:
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-ajdt/

When I came to the ajdoc steps I ran into some problems. After
completing the "ajdoc wizard", when launcing the ajdoc tool I got this
error message:
"java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/aspectj/tools/ajdoc/Main
Exception in thread "main" "

So In short, how can I fix the classpath for the process that launches
the ajdoc process.

Anyone please!

Hi Jørn,

Unfortunately you appear to have discovered a bug in 1.2.0M1. This option
should of course just work. Please raise a bug in Bugzilla for this,
with details of your platform, and we'll do our best fix it as soon as
possible.

The tutorial was written for AJDT 1.1.11 and 1.1.12, so the functionality
should work there.

Regards,

Matt.

As this is a fairly significant bug in 1.2.0M1, I'm posting here to let
everyone else know that this has now been fixed. This affects anyone
wishing to use the ajdoc wizard. See bug 76903 for more details:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=76903

The fix is available in a development build, see here for more details:

http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextech.cgi/~checkout~/ajdt -home/download.html#devbuilds

I have also updated the 1.2.0M1 release notes with this information.

Regards,

Matt.
