for the PhD students among us: typesetting Emfatic in LaTeX [message #408970]

Hi,

Some of us write from time to time LaTeX documents containing Emfatic
snippets. If the same happens to you, then read on!

In order to highlight Emfatic-specific keywords as shown in the attached
PDF, the LaTeX "listings" package needs a language definition for Emfatic.
I've included in the attached .tex file an example, which requires the
"color" package. It takes no time to remove coloring, and stay with the more
traditional bold highlighting of reserved keywords, if you like. As usual,
the full customizability of the "listings" package,
ftp://tug.ctan.org/pub/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/list ings/listings.pdf
is available (frames, line numbers, mono vs proportional spacing, etc)

Sugestions are welcome. After enough review, improved definitions could be
contributed to the CTAN archive to become a standard LaTeX style file.
