Hello,

my problem is the following:

I've installed ajdt and aspectj successfully on Eclipse3.0 / WINXP /
Java1.4.2.

But everytime i start eclipse my workspace is hanging up when the project
is build. In eclipse progress bar in the bottom of the workbench appears
"build 0%" and then eclipse crashes.

I've increased the min and max memory to 128m-512m but obviously this
seems not to be the problem...

anyone knows?
thank a lot!

Hi,

It's pretty difficult trying to diagnose problems like this. The easiest
thing might be to try creating a new workspace, make sure some simple
projects are working okay, such as the AspectJ examples included with
AJDT, and then creating a new project and copying your source across from
the old version.

Alternatively, answers to the following might narrow things down a
little. I assume you're using the latest version of AJDT, 1.1.12? Did you
have a previous version of AJDT installed - if so which one? Is the
hanging project an AspectJ project? In what way does Eclipse crash? Which
is your Eclipse build id? And is there anything in your .log file?

Regards,

Matt.
