Replace "Save Resources" - Dialog [message #399393] Fri, 10 December 2004 14:12 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I'm working on an RCP app that only handles with very few files.

Aceptance testing showed an issue with the "save resources"-dialog that
pops up when unsaved files exist:
In my case, there is almost always just one file that is not saved, and
the dialog is not very intuitive for that case: The user is always
unsure what he should do since he is not used to click "unselect all"
for "I don't want to save".

For that reasons I am looking for a way to tell the workbench to show
simple yes-no-dialogs for every dirty file instead of collecting all the
queries into one dialog. Is there a way to do that (in Eclipse 3.01) ?

Thanks,
Lorenz

There isn't any way currently to override this behaviour.
But see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=76768
and please add details about your scenario there.
