Hi folks,

I have created an emf model from an xml schema according to the tutorial,
i.e. by creating a new emf project and importing the xml schema.

What do I do when the xml schema changes? Do I need to re-create the
entire project or is there a way to update the model from the schema?

Regards,

Norbert

Hi!

Right-click on the .genmodel file and select "Reload"... I think it was
described in tutorials, wasn't it?

Dmitry.

Dmitry,

sorry, I overlooked the entry in the context menu. This is great.

I did not see it in the tutorial and did not find anything by searching
"reload".

Tnx

Norbert

EMF team may consider updating tutorials than... Probably I saw it in
some other non-official tutorial :)

Dmitry.

Dmitry,

Thanks for helping answer questions! ;-)

We will be updating all the tutorials in the coming weeks to reflect the
changes we've been making. For example, we now generate a sample that
runs standalone too (and standalone execution no longer requires using
the xyz.resource.jar files), but who will know if we don't point it
out. Please open a bugzilla feature request to ask for Reload to be
described in the tutorial.
