Peter,
In the Data Source Explorer view, you create a connection profile,
connect, see the contents, restart Eclipse, and the connection profile is
no longer present? If so, can you take a look in your eclipse\features
folder for "org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.feature" and let me know
what version stamp is there? (It will look something like "1.0.0.20079261")

John,
I was going to respond to you in a prior thread, but the problem you
describe with Peter here is exactly what is now happening to me on
3.3.1.1.
When I create the profile and connection, everything works great.
Shutdown Eclipse though, restart, and it's all gone.
The version stamp / directory you referenced is
org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.feature_1.5.1.200709261
Eclipse Version: 3.3.1.1
Eclipse Build id: M20071023-1652
I am on Linux, using HSQLDB.
Thanks again,
Paul
