Buckminster 3.4 headless subversion plugins AWOL [message #385365] Thu, 14 May 2009 07:24 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi

I am trying to install
org.eclipse.buckminster.subversive.headless.feature into buckminster
3.4. However I get a 404 message from
http://download.cloudsmith.com/buckminster/external/site.xml . Have the
svn plugins moved somewhere else or has support for them been dropped?

Regards
Doug

Oh, sorry. I accidentally built this repository using the 3.5 build. That makes it a pure P2 repository (i.e. no
site.xml, but content.jar and artifacts.jar instead). That doesn't play to well with the headless 3.4 installer since
it's built on the old update manager.

I'll fix this, hopefully during the day today.

Regards,
Thomas Hallgren

Hi again,
Time ran out and I will not be able to attend to this for some days to come. You can however always use our archived sites.

http://download.cloudsmith.com/buckminster/archivedsites/

The last one built using 3.4:

http://download.cloudsmith.com/buckminster/archivedsites/buc kminster.externalsite-1.0.0.r09908.zip

should work well with a 3.4 environment.

Regards,
Thomas Hallgren

Ok, thanks Thomas. I will use an archive until you can fix this.
