Hello,

I am searching for a modeling tool that would allow me to :
* define graphically C functions and data (for embedded applications),
* add comment to these functions & data
* manage function's body in a way that re-generation of function would not
be an issue
* generate automatically a design document
* perform reverse engeneering
* ...

Well, a magic tool in fact...

Any suggestion ???

Thank you for your help

Oh, I forgot... but it would be so nice if the tool could provide as well
ways to be configured for the code generation.

I know, it's a dream, but is thre anything that offers some of these
possibilities ?

Thank you for your help

Laurent,

The tools in the modeling project are primarily focused on Java. I
don't know of any tool that does what you describe.

Laurent,

Topcased has some experimental features :

Code generators (UML2Java, UML2C, UML2Python and SMUC)

you can take a look at feature descriptions here :

http://www.topcased.org/breve.en.php3?id_breve=27&lang=e n

code is accessible here : http://gforge.enseeiht.fr/frs/?group_id=7

I didn't have a look myself yet, so it is possible it doesn't exactly
match your need ^^.

HTH,
