Hi Michael,

best if you ask them directly. I have added them in CC.

Thanks,

Antoine

The roadmap for BPMN2 is very much dependent on what happens at the OMG. At
this point, I believe the final (supposedly unified) submission is due at
the December technical meeting; this submission will become adopted if
voting is successful, and will likely be the basis for the first release of
the BPMN2 project (0.7), scheduled for June 2009.

Hi all,
I'm working at SAP as part of the BPMN 2.0 Finalization Task Force.
As a side effect I started to create a BPMN 2.0 ECore metamodel plugin.
This metamodel is annotated with ExtendedMetadata annotations, so that it can read/write both, the official BPMN 2.0 XML (based on the normative XSD) and the XMI (derived from metamodel).

Is the MDT project interested having this contributed?

Thanks,
Reiner.

Hi Reiner, we would happily welcome this contribution. We need to update
our schema to the final version anyways.

We performed a first code run, where we generated the first metamodel
from the official schema. This led to more work - we also work with the
FTF to ensure the validity of the models -. We have been looking for
partners and trying to gather interest around the project to get a
maximum of people working on it. My hope is to attract a few committers
and have the project run very quickly once the spec goes final.

If you are interested in the project, I recommend you log into our
bugzilla, find the issues related to the project, and start contributing.

Thanks!
