Dear all,

i?m working with awesome GMF getting deeper into it daily. But now for
my project i would need a UML2 diagram where i can instantiate classes
(by InstanceSpecification) and links inbetween them. So here we go on a
sunny day and load the uml2.diagram.def to the workspace and now added
the link in the tool and the graph file.
My questions:

how can i change the metamodel (uml.ecore) cause if i select its only a
reference... and i changed the reference in the other project but i cant
"reload" it... ?

when i generate .genmodel i get problems with a package element which i
didnt touch at all..

Any suggestions how to work on this huge project? eg. how to extract the
minimum working set for my intention (doing a uml2 class diagram with an
instance specification of the associations/aggregations) ?

any help is welcome
thanks in advance though

Hannes,

Developers on the UML2 Tools component of MDT (I've copied the UML2 Tools
newsgroup) might have some advice for you... and of course, I'm sure they'd
be interested if you were willing to contribute an object diagram
implementation to Eclipse!
