Hi,

why are some documentation and source plugins missing in the Callisto
Update?

For example source for WorkspaceCommandStackImpl is missing. Also
TransactionalEditingDomain is missing.

Same for GMF (I had to get the SDK zipfile and manually copy the missing
plugins and features)

On the EMFT Update Site only JET SDK shows up. (Maybe because that is
the only one I didn't install from Callisto)

Regards,
Jan

Hi Jan,

It was decided that SDKs should not be provided with Callisto in order to
minimize the download size, and taking into account that most end users
would only require the runtime components. For the SDKs, users are expected
to visit the individual project download sites to obtain them (as you seem
to have done for EMFT).

I just did this to install everything for GMF using our update site, after
installing the "core" from Callisto:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/gmf/update-site/relea se/site.xml
Update Manager is smart enough to not re-download what you have installed,
so it's pretty painless, imo. There's no need to use the zips in this case.

If there are issues with the EMFT download site or packaging, you're best to
post to their newsgroup or open a bug.

Best Regards,
Rich
