I am posting this message to express my interest in MDT and desire to
get more involved. I was especially interested to see the inclusion of
UML2, XSD, and EODM, because those are exactly the three models I am
working to integrate in my development.

As a bit of background, I wrote a paper for the software engineering
workshop at the International Semantic Web Conference (held last week)
where I described my vision and prototype development work:

"Semantic Models for XML Schema with UML Tooling"

While at ISWC I met with several of the ODM specification editors and we
discussed plans for the EODM project. I entered 6 bugzilla entries
against EODM as suggested plan items for the 2.0.0 release.

Out of those topics, I intend to start development of the Pellet
reasoner adapter for EODM because it is the most important for continued
development of the work described in my paper. I will post other
messages to the new EODM newsgroup.

Thanks for your interest in MDT. I'm sure the leads for the various
components of the project will gladly welcome your contributions. Keep the
bugs (and patches?) coming!
