I hope this is the right place for this question.

where could I find more information about the AM3 plugin: tools included,
examples, user's guide...
¿is it compatible with Eclipse 3.2? ¿can be used without the ATL plugin?

Dear Luis,

You can find a paper detailing the AM3 component at
http://www.sciences.univ-nantes.fr/lina/atl/bibliography/eTX 2006_1
(this paper has been published in July 2006)

Moreover, you can find additional information on AM3 ANT tasks for
performing complex chains of ATL transformations at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/AM3_Ant_Tasks

A complete use's example of such tasks as well as instructions for
installing them is provided in the "Bugzilla Metrics" MoDisco use case
(see the corresponding documentation):
http://www.eclipse.org/gmt/modisco/useCases/BugzillaMetrics/

Best regards,

Hugo
