Hi,

Is anybody know is possible attach event (specially timer event) to
activity (task) in Eclipse BPMN modeler ? I want to paint situation like
„if the activity doesn't be finished in 5 minutes then the activity
will be break and process go using another flow”.
I have the latest version of Ganymede with SOA Tools. When I try to
(attach) put event to activity BPMN modeler doesn't allow me to do it.
When I pull the event on activity then event stay 1 centimetre from
activity and background of cursor is red. Maybe somebody know how I can
paint situation like I wrote above?

Thank you for any help.

Best regards,
Sara

Hi Sara, this is not supported at the moment. You can simulate it by
adding a subprocess that you collapse to get the same effect.

Thanks,

Antoine

Hi Antoine,

Thanks for your replay.
I have to paint 4 different flow from one task (default flow, flow as a
result of timer break, 2 conditional flow). I have never use a subprocess
in situation like that so I haven't got any idea how I can do it using
subprocess (I can't attach event to subprocess). Maybe some suggestion ?

Best regards,
Sara

You can attach an event on the bottom border of a subprocess.

Thanks,

Antoine
