Reverse engineer BPMN from BPEL [message #374718] Sun, 04 May 2008 17:13 Go to next message

Hello,

I have configured the Eclipse STP plugins for BPMN modeling and am trying
to import a BPEL file in order to reverse engineer into a BPMN model. Is
this currently supported in the current version of STP for BPMN?

Regards,

Paul Tazbaz

This is not currently supported ; we did a sample at some point that was
doing a reverse engineering of BPEL files into BPMN diagrams, but it is
really just something we did to demonstrate the generation capacities of
our editor.

You might want to check out the JWT and STP-IM projects, that are
transforming BPMN diagrams to execution languages; the reverse operation
might have been implemented.

Thanks,

Antoine

No, sorry. However Intalio has a Demand Driven Development Program, so
you can make it happen.

This feature is already listed there, you might want to add a comment:
