Yup, we're using Buckminster to do the build. If you take a look at the
build.xml in the build folder you'll see how it kicks off things. We use
Buckminster to bootstrap things, meaning it goes and checks out the code from
svn, ensures all dependencies are present and then delegates to the PDE build
to build plugins, create the update site etc.

If you need some help on any aspects of this, feel free to drop me a line.

Those map and svn-pde build files are old and I really should get rid of
them. There are some lightweight build instructions at [0] to build the
whole project, but as I mentioned to Koen in a separate thread, I'm
tinkering to get ready for M7 builds. Currently I am having a lot of
'fun' resolving multiple versions of javax.wsdl :)

Try them out - best place to ask questions on the gory details is the
stp-dev mailing list.

best regards
Oisin

Hi Adrian,

I've had a chance to play with buckminster and kind I'm started to get a
feel for it. One of the things I noticed about STP is that you have used
map files and svn-pde build, which I am familiar with. Are these still
used by your build or are they historical artifacts no longer required by
the buckminster build?

Thanks for your help,
Tas
