One more question. sorry. Could you explain more about what will be mai=

Just removing dependency of other tptp codes from choreography engine, =

Hi Keanu,

B2J is being migrated from TPTP but during it's migration it will
undergo some changes to shift the focus of the project from TPTP to the=

goals of B2J.

The old part of the TPTP website is probably the best place to get
information about what code currently exists:

http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/platform/documents/design/choreo graphy_html=
/index.html

To get a feel for where we are going with it and how it will turn into
B2J you might want to take a look in particular at the old TPTP
choreography architecture document:

http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/platform/documents/design/choreo graphy_html=
/engine/architecture.html

The key bit is the 'replacable java engine implementation' part of the
'Choreography Engine' in the second diagram on the page.

The code is currently available under the TPTP
org.eclipse.tptp.choreography plugin but we hope to make it available
soon in STP CVS.

thanks

Antony

Hi Keanu,

Regarding the move of the code from TPTP to B2J the most important
change will be to remove dependencies on any TPTP code and leave that
code in TPTP under the current choreography plugin.

As far as other goals it will mainly be an opportunity to refactor and
tidy up in a temporary CVS before committing the code to STP CVS HEAD.

In the longer term, we are hoping to solicit requirements from other
members and interested parties in STP to see where and how they would
like to use B2J so we can develop it over time to suit a variety of uses.

At the moment for example, the engine framework APIs which the
translated Java use are internal and have only been used to create
standalone workflow engines which were to be used in TPTP. In the
future we want to expose these APIs to allow usage of the BPEL to Java
(B2J) translation in other environments. Doing that will likely mean
finding out what other environments people have and want to use it in to
see how we can fit them.

cheers
