import task backup list [message #37881]

I had the task list pointed to a server directory. I remapped the drive
in WindowsXP to the server user dir where my backup mylyn was being
saved. When I got into eclipse and the mylyn properties and changed the
drive letter to the workspace mylyn & backup location it killed my
current task list and created a new one. I still have the old backups
there. I was messaged to do a backup import but can not find that
location in the mylyn property screens. What do I do short of doing a
backup server restore and not change the path variable?

Please let us know if that doesn't address your problem. Also, when you
change your task data preference you should always be prompted whether
you want to overwrite your Task List or not. If you weren't prompted,
or if the prompt wasn't clear, please file a bug. We're planning on
improving the backup/restore story for Mylyn 2.3 and 3.0.
