STEM - editing included scenarios, etc? [message #35049] Tue, 16 October 2007 09:54 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm trying to use STEM for a modeling class. At this point, all I want to
do is edit an existing scenario, model, etc. and then run it. I've gone
through the help files, online docs, google, wiki, etc. It seems that, at
this point, most of the docs are geared primarily towards implementation.

Specifically, I've created a new project and viewed it in the "STEM
Project Explorer" window, but I can't drag-and-drop any of the included
objects into the new project's folders. I did create a scenario,
drag-and-drop a model into it, create a sequencer, and drag-and-drop the
sequencer into the editor window of the scenario. Still, I get the error
"Scenario cannot be run because it doesn't have a sequencer error". I've
tried drag-and-dropping the sequencer elsewhere, but nothing else
"accepts" it. Any thoughts?

thanks,

Did you save the project before running it. It is not obvious but you
need to do a "Ctrl-s" to save the model after you have done a drag/drop
and before running it.

It may also be helpful to look at the instructions that Jamie added to
the wiki
