Hi
I hope my question will not be deleted again. Ok anyway,my Problem is that
I made some reference Workflows and some Sub Workflows that are linked via
the extends-function to the reference workflows. I can see the activity
diagrams of the sub workflows using epf but navigating from the reference
workflow to the subs on the website gives me just a list of task
descriptors. Someone told me that variability is not possible with
Capability Patterns, I don't know if this is also meant but I could see
the subs on the website when I used older versions of EPF.
I found out that the page with the activity diagram of the subworkflow is
published but another one without is linked in the reference workflow.
Is there any solution for this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Peter
Thanks for your help. Here is my description of the way I create Reference
and Sub Workflows:
I create a Capabillity Pattern for the Reference Workflow and I drag and
drop Tasks from the Configuration field at the left bottom into the Work
breakdown structure of the Capability Pattern, then I create a new one for
a sub workflow and I do the same here, I drag and drop Tasks into the WBS.
Here I open the activity diagram of this Capability Pattern and draw a
workflow. Then I go back to the Capability Pattern of the Reference
Workflow and into the WBS. To get the Sub Workflow into it I drag and drop
the Capability Pattern from the Configuration field into the WBS and I'm
asked if I want to "copy", "extend" or "deep copy" the Capability Pattern
of the Sub workflow. I use "extend" because my former coach told me that
this get me the benefit that all changes made in the Capability Pattern of
the sub workflow appear everywhere where it is used. Then I open the
activity diagram of the Reference Workflow and draw the workflow with the
item that represents the sub workflow. I hope this description is
sufficient, otherwise I can describe it again in german if you prefer.
Thanks in advance, I look forward to get your helpful answer.
