I have installed the 0.7 version from
( http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update -site/ ) and
now would like to uninstall it. However even though i select uninstall and
the uninstall seems to woek... subversive still appears in the preferences,
and its perspective is still there. How can i completely uninstall this?.
Please supply the plug-ins and features so i can manually do this.

TIA....

You could find this info by pointing your web browser to the
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update -site/. :)
Look for jar files / features with svn in name.

It's strange that you couldn't uninstall using GUI. You can try
uninstalling with classic update manager. To enable it go to "Preferences"
-> "General" -> "Capabilities".

That is the confusing part...

I have looked at all the features and plugins and there are none that start
with org.eclipse.team.svn...
I actually did the uninstall with the Classic Update manager...

But still i see subversive in both the preferences, the perspective and
under Help/Subversive...

Could it be it is uninstalled however cached somewhere?

In Eclipse you can have many folders where plugins are installed and they
can be located in any place on the disc, not only under Eclipse directory.
Nevertheless using Classic Update Manager you should be able to see all of
them, so I don't know what else you can do. Try searching through your HDD
for files with "svn" in name.

Even for "org.eclipse.team.svn" in them.
If SVN prefs page exists, than the org.eclipse.team.svn.ui plug-in is
loaded. From where? It's you, Javier, to know better:).

Good luck with finding the problem.
Best regards, Alexei Goncharov.
