Responsibilities
Deployment & maintenance of our in-house IDE & Rich Client Platform (RCP) based on the Eclipse IDE
Maintenance of our Eclipse IDE plugins (Java)
Maintenance of dependencies (libraries / target platform)
Migration of the application to new RCP versions
Quality assurance of new IDE & RCP versions
Fault analysis & creation of upstream bug reports & pull-requests
Active contribution of ideas to our members in the IDE working group of the Eclipse Foundation
Profile
Several years of programming experience
System understanding and know-how regarding the connections between build mechanism (e.g. gradle, maven, tycho), libraries, Java and related technologies (classloading, etc.)
Ability to read other's code
Affinity to the open source world
Ability to work independently
Good knowledge of English and German desirable
You are willing to travel internationally (approx. 5%)

Possible start date: immediately
We offer you for this position a monthly minimum gross salary (starting level) of € 3.724,00 on a full time basis (38.5 hrs/week). The actual salary is calculated on the basis of previous periods of service, qualification, professional experience and the collective agreement.
