I'm trying to install eclipse on a raspberry pi 4 running raspian. I chose the AArch64 version of the installer (version 2023‑12 R). When I try to execute the installer I get the error "cannot execute binary file: Exec format error".

Exactly which file is it, by name?

The tar file is eclipse-inst-jre-linux-aarch64.tar.gz. which I downloaded from the page
https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/installer
The file I tried to run is
eclipse-installer/eclipse-inst
