I am a student taking a university programming 1 - Java. The course requests that we use the latest versions of Eclipse and Java. I have the following:
Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (includes Incubating components)
Version: 2023-09 (4.29.0)
Build id: 20230907-1323
OS: Mac OS X, v.13.5.2, aarch64 / cocoa
Java vendor: Oracle Corporation
Java runtime version: 20.0.2+9-78
Java version: 20.0.2
I followed this video tutorial to help install:
Bro Code. (2020, November 17). JavaFX install & setup (Eclipse) [Video]. YouTube.
If you get to setup step 6. The video states that the errors will clear and if there are no mistakes with installation.
I have followed the steps but still get the same results the errors do not clear.
I have been using Eclipse to complete my assignments but, feel that I am missing the use of the part that cannot be cleard with the video installation setup.
Is there anyone who can assist me with this issue?

I hope I am doing the reply properly.
I have seen the changes in the path required and have implemented the required one for macOS.
I did read some of the comments and saw one regarding locating the path from Class to Module and I have also done this.
The errors have cleared and I have proceeded to the next steps on running the program. What happens is that I get an the following:

It looks like you're trying to install/update into an installation with older version of Mylyn already installed. I'm not sure how you got into that state of what you did to get the above stack trace.

I'm pretty sure at some point a dialog came up and told it yes, you want to try to get the installation to match its description and to remember that....
If you go into Preferences -> Oomph -> Setup Tasks you can check-mark "Skip automatic task execution or startup", or can change "Install requirements on startup" to "Never", where you probably have "Always" or at least "Prompt" chosen right now...

It seems that I have more issues with my Eclipse than I realize. I have an update come up and then when I do the update I get the following with lots of errors.

Hello,
To those who assisted with my Eclipse and JavaSDK Setup....thank you for your assistance.
I have given up trying to work with the Eclipse I had downloaded and removed it completely from my computer.
I reinstalled the basic Eclipse IDE Java which is working great at the moment.
I would like to know that when I re-installed Eclipse I downloaded the the following:
Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (includes Incubating components)
Version: 2023-06 (4.28.0)
Build id: 20230608-1333
OS: Mac OS X, v.14.0, aarch64 / cocoa
Java vendor: Oracle Corporation

Unfortunately Mylyn renamed almost all it's features causing conflict problems in the product definitions I'm not sure why you installed 2023-06 and not 2023-09....
I'm not sure what you mean by JavaSDK; you mean a JDK. It appears you have a 20.0.2 JDK installed, being used. For what specifically and where are you looking in the preferences?

Hello Ed Merks,
I installed 2023-06 in error and I seem to be having no issues with this installation. I know following the instruction for this course is to upload the latest versions and when I attempted this, I had issues from the start. I will stick with what I have for now and upgrade to 2023-09 after the course is over.

This feels like a ground hog day issue. There's no point in me repeating previous answers.
Try the following. Use Help -> About Eclipse IDE -> Installation Details and on the Installed Software tab, select all the Mylyn* features and choose Uninstall... After that you will be able to install newer Mylyn features without conflict.
