Hi all,

I used EA and I'm switching to Papyrus and I have this question:

We create an Analysis Class Model (like PMI).

We need to place somewhere in some field at class or at attribute the corresponding name of the class or attribute realized in the Java code (= mapping from analysis to code like in MDA, but manually).

In EA we used "Alias field".
We can use "Label field" (that we do not use yet) in Papyrus.

Is there another better option?

Hi Ilya,

What is PMI in this context?

you can use
1. the label attribute
2. create custom attributes by applying a custom profile
3. or as you mention MDA, even though it is not manually, let an automated PIM to PSM transformation deal with normalizing names. I would not automate the CIM (informal analysis model) to PIM (formal design model) transformation, though.
