Hi,

I am trying to use the standalone C/C++ debugger. I followed the steps listed in the Wiki to install it using the full Eclipse installation option.

Everything works fine up to the installation process and the cdtdebug.sh script gets installed.

However, when I try to run it, the Eclipse splash screen shows for a couple of seconds, before I get an error.

I have attached the error logs produced.

Please note that this only happens with the standalone debugger. The full IDE works normally.

Any idea how I can fix this issue?

Some more information about this.. It seems that this problem happens only in the latest release of Eclipse (2021-09). I just test the 2021-06 release and it seems to be working fine. At least it starts with no issue at all. I haven't tested debugging in it yet.
