Hello,
I am trying to use JFreeChart in Eclipse

- Win 10
- Eclipse 2021-03
- JFreeChart 1.5.3

Up to now I could not find a working instruction, how to
make JFreeChart available in my Java projects.

Thanks for advice.
Michael

Where are you stuck? How far have you gotten?

Hello,
not far. Just download and unpack the zip from JFreeChart.
Saved it to the JRE/lib directory.

Apparently, in earlier versions there was a .jar that could be used as library,
but there is no jar in the .zip that I got.
So that is the status.

This instruction did not help also since I cannot create a java package or class in
a Maven project..

https://jfree.github.io/Eclipse-JFreeChart/

I would really need a step by step instruction from scrap.

Thank you.

Regards,
Michael

You should be able to. What error message do you get when trying?

Hello,
I do not know, what is different today, but in previous attempts
the project folder looked like 'Mav_old'.
I tried several times before I asked at the forum.

Starting over again today everything is fine.

Any idea, what was wrong before?

Thanks.
Michael
