When I click the executable to launch Eclipse and it loads up the workspace I get a popup that says:

An internal error occurred during: "AutoRegisterSchemeHandlersJob".
C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Temp\jna--1004183256\jna11936325322814575724.dll: Access is denied

I think it may have to do with my work's restrictive policy on specific files and other security measures, I do not have any authority to change this policy.
I would like to know how I can disable the "auto register" feature, I don't know if its a major/important thing for Eclipse to function correctly as my project compiles fine and runs my Java project perfectly.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem, tried looking into some reddit threads, didn't help much. Finally, got it from https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7847359/eclipse-wont-start-but-no-error-is-shown hope this helps you out

Thank you for your suggestion, it didn't resolve my issue. I'll see if there is any other relevant suggestions in that thread.
