Hi to all,I'm a student in a faculty of Engineering in Italy and I'm looking for help about M2M trasformation with QVT operational mappings because I have a task assignment about MoWebA approach that is an approach about MDE and inside this approach there is a step to follow that require the trasformation of our UML model into an ASM model and for this step we need to apply the M2M.I'm looking for help about it,the main topic is MoWebA approach about RIA and the important step is to apply M2M trasformation with QVT operational mappings. There is anybody here expert about these steps or in general expert about M2M trasformation with the QVT operational mappings?Thank you.

Hi
At first attempt there is nothing wrong. The project loads and the UML Model Editor opens punto2.uml without problem. However validating reveals many fault, but these are probably minor design bugs rather than a fatal usage.
Looking at the XMI, it appears that a special Eclipse save has been performed, which might be why there are no fatal problems but the save is for http://www.eclipse.org/uml2/2.0.0/UML rather than http://www.eclipse.org/uml2/5.0.0/UML which is probably 10 years out of date now and will not be exploiting UML 2.5. The Eclipse UML2 project is quite good at upward compatibility, but there are limits; you may have hit them.
None of the above should cause a problem using the UML models, but since you have not shared any details of what you tried to do or what actually did not happen as you expected, it is hard to comment.
