JavaFX doesn't show up under File>New>Other after installing the plug-in. Has anyone else had this problem? I followed the instructions from a YouTube video that my college professor provided.

It seemed like I did everything correctly. I went to the eclipse marketplace & searched for FX. I installed the plugin & restarted eclipse. The only thing that was different is in the video when the instructor had to accept a certification. I did not get this, but everything else was the same. I have Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (includes Incubating components)
Version: 2020-06 (4.16.0)
Build id: 20200615-1200
OS: Windows 10, v.10.0, x86_64 / win32
Java version: 1.8.0_112

Did you install this?

https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/efxclipse

The help link there suggests using this forum:

I have e(fx)clipse 3.6.0 installed from the marketplace. I attached a screenshot. I'm not sure how to install what you posted. How do I drag & drop into eclipse workspace? it says I need marketplace client. Is that different than the basic eclipse program? I access the marketplace through the help menu.

Yes, that's the same listing. I assume that if you installed already that you have market place client already.

Therefore I suggest you ask on the forum e(fx)clipse forum. Maybe your issues are like the ones in this thread:

Thanks. I'm not sure if that thread helps or not, but i'll keep looking. I don't even get that far. I cant even get to the point where i can start a fx project because the menu selection doesn't show up. I was following a YouTube video that my instructor posted. i tried to post the link in my original post but the forum wouldn't let me. Lets see if it lets me now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC4XB6JAaoU&feature=emb_logo
