My organization uses Eclipse (the IDE) as well as RCP for some of our desktop applications. I'm reaching out to find out information regarding the roadmap for Eclipse more specifically, when will Eclipse move from the e4 architecture to 5? I'm not looking for exact dates, but general estimates. If I've posted in the wrong forum, may you assist me with the correct forum I should engage with.

There are no plans for an Eclipse 5 version nor do I expect any in the foreseeable future.
