Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (includes Incubating components)
Version: 2020-06 (4.16.0)

Optimistically tried to INSTALL on my existing IDE build but got a lot of errors:

eclipse.buildId=4.16.0.I20200604-0540
java.version=1.8.0_261
java.vendor=Oracle Corporation
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=en_US
Framework arguments: -product org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product
Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86_64 -product org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.metadata.repository
Error

IF they are surmountable, I'd like to hack thru the issues... otherwis, I'll just move on and try to find another COBOL editor (Good old SPF/PC seems to have gone Bye-Bye

You probably want to speak up in the open issue about it: https://github.com/bastie/CODE/issues/6 . As that COBOL plug-in is not provided by eclipse.org, any answer is up to its author and community.
