Hello out there - we have been asked to create a 2D Datamatrix barcode by integrating iText Open Source. Has this been done successfully? I have been told this would involve a Java wrapper to invoke the iText API.

I know there are commercial packages / plugins out there but we have been told not to use these due to licensing issues.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
