Hello,

I'm familiar with the usage of css to modify appearances but I'm not finding a way to change the background color of the Papyrus UI across the entire application.

Specifically, two issues:
1. In diagrams, the dark grey background make it very difficult to see the ends of connectors (like a "containment" relationship in package diagrams); the color does not appear to be modifiable with css; My preference is for white backgrounds and dark lines/strokes.
2. In the "Model Explorer", i'm not able to see the "carrot" next to an element that shows that it contains other elements and so can be uncollapsed. They appear to be white-on-white. when I select the element and it is highlighted, then I see that there is a carrot.

Any ideas?

Hi Ali,
what operation system with what window manager with what skin are you using.
I use Papyrus on
* Windows 10 with default window manager
* Ubuntu 18.04LTS with Gnome3 and Radiance skin
in both cases the background of the graphical editors are white.
Weird, really weird.
/Carsten

Found the answer:

Preferences... > General > Appearnce > Theme > Light!

This should be the default for Papyrus as the tool is very difficult to use otherwise....

Hi Ali,
We don't provide black theme. Papyrus is always provided with a white background. So I don't know how you get result...

Hello Ali,

I had exactly the same Problem and came here to find a solution.
Somehow Papyrus uses your system theme/color to get the background color.
For me worked that I changed my System Theme to Light mode in the Ubuntu Settings:

Settings > Appearance > Light

It's not the best fix but it does the job for me.

Kind Regards,
Ali
