Hi,
I try to install Eclipse 2020-03 with the Eclipse installer under Windows 10 Pro.
I get a message that it does not find a Java jre even though I have installed jre1.8.0_251 in
c:\Program Files(c86)\Common Files\Oracle\Java\javapath, in C:\Program Files\Java and I linked it in C:\Java.
Where does the installer expect the jre?
Is there an option that I can set when calling the installer?

Thanks.
K.D.J.

No doubt you have a 32 bit Java installed but you need to install a 64 bit Java. The former are installed in "Program Files (x86)" and the later are installed in "Program Files". So be sure to install a 64 bit version of Java first.
