I'm trying to get eclipse installed on a new laptop and it's a PITA. Why?

I keep getting prompted for an username and password for the samples. I entered in my username and pwd for the eclipse site and nothing.

I entered in my network Id and PWD and nothing,

Why am I getting prompted for an username and pwd?

I'm getting this when I click the sample link on the home page, or any link on the home page, I even got it again this morning when opening up eclipse
