Like all good upgrades, some things get fixed, and other things get broken.

I have downloaded the Modeling Eclipse 2019-06 package. I've upgraded to Sirius 3.0.

Things worked reasonably well in Photon, but in 2019-06, whenever I launch a runtime Eclipse app will all plugins enabled, EVERY SINGLE RIGHT CLICK, in the modeling view results in a CoreException:

org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: No property tester contributes a property org.eclipse.emf.ecp.core.project.open

I have upgraded EMF, I have upgraded ECP. I have regenerated all my EMF code, regenerated all my Xtext code.

How could basic Eclipse stuff being falling on its face every single Right Click operation?

Actually, I get MULTIPLE annoying CoreExceptions every right click. Here are some others:

It's worse when I right click in the Modeling View:

org.eclipse.emf.ecp.core.container.canDelete
org.eclipse.emf.ecp.core.repository.providerName to type class org.eclipse.sirius.viewpoint.impl.DRepresentationDescriptorImpl

AFAIK, I haven't asked for anything special from ECP - I barely even know what it is, so it's some EMF, ECP, Sirius plugin stuff going on, but it acts like it's totally broken.

Hi.

You mention "I've upgraded to Sirius 3.0.", I guess this is a typo and you mean 6.3.0? Sirius 3.0 is from 2015.

Anyway, with just the error message it's difficult to have an idea of what is happening. Could you post the complete stack strace?

Regards,
Pierre-Charles
