New to eclipse. Using 2020_03 on a 2K monitor, and fonts are small.
Searches found settings in Window>> preferences>>basic>>textFont and that changes alot. And found a Header Font somewhere that helps too.

But the tree to the left - Package Explorer, and the Properties panels are still very small - 9pt? I need about 12pt. I've searched the whole list and can't find it.

Any pointers to where these fonts are set so I can stop squinting? ;)

The whole interface is awesomely functional. Great job folks.
I'm beginning to learn WindowBuilder layouts. Moving here after years of Qt and finally gave up on their Deployment or Non-Deployment in favor of Java for Windows / Linux.

I have a feeling there is no control over this font. The Tree widget is a native widget and will use the same font (by default) as is used everywhere else on the OS. So on Windows, for example, you can choose to show larger fonts in general and the font used by the Windows Explorer is the same one used by the Package Explorer view.

I have a bizarre issue too: the fonts are lost after opening any modal dialog in eclipse (i.e. Project Properties Dialog).

This happens recently since the Windows 10 build 20161.

How can we fix it?

PS: it is not related to eclipse version ... I tried with many eclipse versions: 2020-06, 2019-09, Oxygen, Mars 3 ... all have the same bad behavior ... as well as the TortoiseSVN.

Please help !!!

Hi Ed,

Thank you for your msg. Nope, the setting didn't change anything.
It always happens when open an eclipse Dialog, tried on many eclipse versions, as I described in the below bug.

So, I opened the bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=565025

I think in the last preview build 20161 of the Windows 10, they removed a font, and all the eclipse versions, plus tortoise svn, do have that hardcoded somewhere.

Waiting for a better version of eclipse :)
