I've installed JD-Eclipse on Photon to decompile a jar file. Unfortunately, I seem unable to follow the instructions. I've associated *.jar with JD-Eclipse but when I open the jar file nothing happens. Can someone tell me how to get JD-Eclipse to decompile a jar? TIA.

What is JD-Eclipse? Wherever it comes from you would be best to ask the provider of that about it.

Hello,

If you need to use decompiler have a looked at:

http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/enhanced-class-decompiler

As you can see it is located in http://marketplace.eclipse.org

You might be more lucky :-)

Regards.

I did not find the decompiler in the market place. I guess my search was wrong. I uninstalled JD-Eclipse and added that instead. Thanks for the suggestion. I was only a little more lucky. It opened the file but just displayed garbage. It wasn't supposed to be but I suspect the code is obfuscated. I need to research that more.
