I have enabled
"save before build" - not direct quote - and it does work as expected
" refresh" apparently refresh(?) is NOT automatic before "run" starts - works as expected
I call it "automatic save , build, refresh, run " and IT FAILS after error is detected and code is edited to correct the error.

Hence
manual "Save all" and manual "Build" and manual "Refresh" is necessary.

BTW this over time (sometime) grows into bigger annoyance - need to perform "Project close " and "Project open" for new edited code to "take" ( reported earlier ).
