Hi All,

Problem Statement:
I have a work space which has few projects checked out, few out of which are interlinked. What I want to do is, I want to automate the check out and configuration process. Eg. I have workspace "A" which has 5 projets checked out. Now I want to create new workspace "B" where all the projects from workspace "A" will be get automatically checked out.

Where I am:
I searched the internet and came accross the Oomph. I have watched videos on youtube and read few documents, every where it is mentioned about the Oomph installer, and information about how to use existing projets is missing. I am really confused how to use the Oomph to solve my above mentioned problem statement.

Thank you in advance for your help. :)

Have you read these details in the wiki?

https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Oomph_Authoring

Especially this section:

Hi Ed Merks,

Thank you very much for your reply.
While doing my search I had came across this article but frankly speaking I really could not understand how to start.
If you see there are three option to choose project I choose "simple project", after that on the "Setup Editor:" section I could not understand what to do.
As I said I have already few projects in the workspace and I want to automatically checkout the entire workspace.
E.G. Now suppose I have one projet "ABC" which is checked out from the SVN how and what need to modify in the "Setup Editor:" for this.

P.S. May my questions are stupid but bare with me I am really confused.

Depending on where the projects come from there are different types of tasks applicable. Most folks these days use Git and for that a Git clone task is appropriate followed by a Projects Import task to import from projects from that clone. The SVN support is not great, but in general there is a Project Set Import Task that you can use to import projects as specified by File -> Export -> Team -> Team Project Set.
