Properties fields in Diagram Description [message #1818041] Wed, 04 December 2019 16:36 Go to next message

Hello everyone,

In my meta-model, my class' attributes use EString type. Consequently, in the representation diagram I can write a string for the attributes of this class.

However, I would like to be able to write more complex string, not only on one line, but a text taking into account the new lines and tabulations. Exactly as when we want to enter an expression in the design:

Is it possible to do that? (it is ok for me if I have to use another class than EString).

Thank you,
Mickael

Hi Mickael,

It seems that you might need to take a look to the Sirius properties views section of the Specifier manual : https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/doc/specifier/properties/Properties_View_Description.html.
The Text Area widget should correspond to your need.

You might also take a look to the corresponding tutorial https://wiki.eclipse.org/Sirius/Tutorials/PropertiesViewTutorial
