Hi

MoDisco 1.5.0M3 is built and contributed to SimRel for 2019-12.

ZIP: http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/download.php?file=/modeling/mdt/modisco/downloads/drops/1.5.0/S201911271152/modisco-Update-1.5.0M3.zip

P2: https://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/modisco/updates/milestones/latest/

N&N: https://wiki.eclipse.org/MoDisco/New_and_Noteworthy/2019-12

In principle the 1.5.0 release is only one bug fix better than 1.2.0, but migrating to life support and accommodating the termination of EMF Facet required major revision of the build. Accidents happen.

As an ongoing MoDisco user, it is your responsibility to contribute to the testing by reporting any accidents that occurred in the rebuild. Any reports in the next couple of days have a good chance of being resolved in the 1.5.0 release.

Regards

Hey, I've been trying to get modisco to download and to actually do something but I seem to be encountering issues. If you have a moment could you help. I'm not great at programming so a simple to follow guide would be appreciated.

Hi

"encountering issues" seems remarkably like the ubiquitously informative "it doesn't work".

I suggest you read the documentation.

How about a more direct question. When creating a query, no parent query shows up and it can't be added. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Hi

Once again your question is massively deficient on detail. I suggest you read something like https://wiki.eclipse.org/OCL/ForumNetiquette to gain some understanding of how to ask questions that might get an answer.
