Eclipse becomes inactive after user locks PC [message #1816576] Thu, 31 October 2019 12:28 Go to next message

So first off I don't actually use eclipse, I only provide IT support for users having various issue on their PC's. That said I have a user that hosts a web server through eclipse that the rest of his team uses, he is the only admin on that host PC. He never logs out of his account, only locks the PC when not remoting into it. The issue is that when he is not connected to the host PC, eclipse will go to an "inactive" state preventing any users from connecting to the server. Once he remotes back to the PC eclipse will go back in an "active" status an users can now connect. What could be causing this and how can I resolve it? Thanks.

Windows 10 - 1809
Recently refreshed PC from HP G1 i5 to a HP G4 i7(desktops), G1 had no issues.

Eclipse isn't aware of those events AFAIK, and if he's just using it to launch a web server, the web server's a more interesting piece of the puzzle. Are you sure it's not something with the machine itself where being inactive causes it to do something like power down the network adapter?
