Hi,

I cannot find any end to end resource on how to create a view for a diagram.
I want to have unsynchronized diagrams available for a user, in which he/she can add model elements and/or drag elements from the existing model into a diagram (serving specific scopes / partial views of the model).

Can anyone provide an example or refer me to one?

Thanks in advance,
Avi

Hello,

Indeed, on unsynchronized diagrams your tools will require model operations that creates view. These operations are presented in the documentation [1].
If you want to see an exemple, you can have a look to Ecore Tools [2]. The Class diagram is unsynchronized and the tool is open-source [3].

Best regards,
Steve
