Hello Team Eclipse !

The version of Eclipse that i am using is -

Version: 2019-03 (4.11.0)
Build id: 20190314-1200

I want to make a DB connection through Eclipse.. so, i follow the below steps -

1) Window
2) Perspective
3) Open Perspective
4) Others

But, to my notice, there is an entry missing for DATABASE DEVELOPMENT.

In such a case, how do i build a DB connection directly from Eclipse ?

Thanks,
Mukesh L.

It sounds like you didn't install a package that contains the Data Tools Platform contributions. You didn't actually tell us which package you installed.

You can use Help -> Install New Software..., use the site http://download.eclipse.org/releases/2019-03 and choose the things you want in the Database Development category.

You posted a very similar message here:

https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/m/1815850/#msg_1815850

This question has nothing to do with the thread to which you've attached it and has nothing to do with JDT.

The only remotely related thing I could find was this:

https://csnorwood.com/programming/eclipse-oxygen-nasm/

And that appears to involve using CDT (C/C++) tools.
